| New awards with some routes gaining new futuristic buses |
Breaking News -huge tender awards from
London Buses.
The following TfL contracts have been
announced today:

R1 re-awarded to Metrobus with existing 2011
Euro V diesel single deck (currently allocated to R1 & R4), PVR 6.
Re-routed via Tower Road and frequency reduced to 3bph.
R2 re-awarded to Metrobus with diesel single
deck, details to be confirmed, PVR 3. Withdraw between Petts Wood and Orpington
(replaced by R3).
R3 re-awarded to Metrobus with 2011 Euro V
diesel single deck, PVR 7. Withdrawn between Chelsfield and Orpington (replaced
by R7) and re-routed via Amherst Drive. Monday to Saturday frequency increased
to 3bph, evening and Sunday frequency increased to 2bph.
R4 re-awarded to Metrobus with diesel single
deck, details to be confirmed. PVR 6.
R6 re-awarded to Metrobus with diesel single
deck, details to be confirmed. PVR 2
R8 re-awarded to Metrobus with new Euro VI
diesel single deck, PVR 2
R11 re-awarded to Metrobus with diesel
single deck, details to be confirmed. PVR 9. Increased frequency to 5bph, 3bph
evening and Sunday. No longer serves Sidcup Tesco.
